Hi,

I have just bought a KU990 with KU990_10g firmware. MOst things are workign fine, except the full keyboard option in TXT, there is chinese symbols where there should be the keyboard option.

I had read that it was supported with the chinese model, so I was thinking about changing firmware to 10g open EU.

Do you think this will fix the issue?

Also iI was told to use LGMDP to flash the firware/Software, but there are no instructions with it so I wanted to verify this with soemone first.

Any help please?

Thanks

Hi Frank,

Had a look at that info but it may as well be gobbledygook unfortunately. As I said - am a novice so have no clue where to start. I do appreciate the effort to help though. Am pretty efficient on the computer it's just these damn phones I have probs with!!! Is this to do with opening the "secret menu" and entering code - I can do that I just need instruction :-( Sorry - I know I''m being a pain.

I tried with XP SP3 first. Everything went fine and I successfully installed XP SP3 with this method. Later I wanted to install XP SP2.
But this time, it shows 'windows is starting' and then a blue screen is shown (Fatal error screen) and the system hangs. !!

Please help !!
